I have purchased several of these from Amazon. I think these are perfect. They are true to size, and fit slim. By that I mean like a board short, they do not have a lot of excess fabric to bunch around your hips making you look like a clown. You will look as slim as you are with these shorts, no extra baggage. Cargo pockets a plus, and these are Nautica – good quality. Strings at the waist take some getting used to but they are backed up by velcro closure.

These are pretty much what you see. They were bigger than I thought and the draw string will only shorten the waist about a half inch. I am a 34′ waist and these were a bit too big. When swimming, too big is not a good thing.
