I have become a size 10 and am wishing to get back to an 8 (read: still wearing many of my size 8 pants, etc). However, when I got my size 10 of this suit, the leg holes were so small they really squeezed my legs (and my legs aren’t abnormally large), and the whole suit was just TOO small. I went to a sporting goods store after to try sizes and the 12 was correct, with no extra room to spare. Also, for those unfamiliar with the Speedo leg cuts, this ‘conservative’ cut is REALLY low. I mean, when you put it on it really appears almost perfectly straight across – even with your crotch – not scooped up a bit as it appears in the photos. Again, at the actual store trying Speedos on, I discovered that their highest ‘contemporary’ cut is actually still pretty moderate, i.e., my bikini underwear were completely covered up and then some when I was trying on these suits over them. In the end, the suit quality feels great so I still plan to buy Speedo but sizing and cut is not as one might expect.

Great for lap swimming. Has a nice lining that keeps one from getting “head lights” in a cool pool; leg openings are not Brazilian style.

This is a very sturdy suit. I got it to wear for lap swimming. It is not fashionable, but I was not looking for that. It holds in all the right places and is comfortable to wear. It runs slightly small, so I would order the bigger size than what you wear in normal clothes. It has great bust support, even though it does not have a shelf bra, which I thought I would miss. There is nothing to tug at, slide down or crawl up. It is a great suit that does the job of a normal lap swimsuit very well.

I love this suit, it works great for me. It does however run a little small compared to other swimsuits. i had to return it for a bigger size

This is a comfortable suit for serious swimmers. Cut is high in front and back with conservative leg. Material front and back has double thickness for longer wear. Straps in back are crossed.

My 13-year old wife complain that I wear my mankini too much. Like when I go for store to get ice cream. She is jelous!

My husband needed something to wear on our family vacation this summer, so he opted for this. At first he was a little nervous about wearing the mankini, since it was his first time meeting my entire family, but once everyone downed the first bottle of Jack Daniels the awkwardness just disappeared. As a matter of fact, I am seriously considering ordering one for my dad for Christmas.

I bought this for myself, but after a few tries, I just didn’t get used to it, so I gave it to my grandfather. It was an instant hit! All the people at the “home” love seeing papa parade around the place. I’m not sure how to top this for his next birthday.

I needed a swim suit for the company party at the beach, but it is hard to find one because I weigh 400lbs and most swim suits are for thinner people. I wore this to the company party and it was definitely an eye-catcher. Until the straps for the shoulders broke. That’s why I’m only giving this 2 stars. Shortly after the party I lost my job.

I had a couple of problems at first. To begin with I ordered the wrong size. Major headache. You don’t want one that’s a size or two “too large” as they tend to ball up between your legs, just below your junk. Makes walking hard. When I finally got the right size I was much, much happier. Well at least after I figured out which was the front. I put it on backwards at first and it felt, well, not right. At least not as right as it should. Anyway a friend of my Grandma’s pointed out the fact that it was backwards. I owe you one, Ms. Fritsche.

After my initial difficulties in acquiring the right size and determing the proper way to wear it, I was off to greet the world in my new Mankini. Let me tell you, it is one heckuva way to greet the workday! Walking out to a cool, crisp morning in my mankini is refreshing. I can feel the wind course through my chest hair. I can feel the security of my manhood protected and comforted in the nice, soft material. It makes me feel both aroused and empowered, as if I were the King and Ruler of some very erotic country where men are men and women are never left alone for long periods of time unattended.

This product is truly magnificent. I am both supported in critical areas and yet left unencumbered by excess fabric. I can pair the mankini with a pullover sweater and some flip flops for a causual, beachy look that fits in almost anywhere – from the office to the PTO meeting.

I do have one complaint: when worn for prolonged periods of time the area supporting my behind tends to “ride up” a bit and wedge itself into my nether regions. While I don’t really mind this, per se, I hope it doesn’t pose any long-term hygiene related issues. Does this green color dye cause cancer? Anyone? Little help would be appreciated…
