I had a sensitive surgical procedure and could only wear certain types of women’s underwear during the long recovery process. I still prefer and wear them. No one is conscious of their underwear unless they are uncomfortable, and mine were.
I have found women’s underwear to be more comfortable, great for travel because more can be packed, they are easier to launder and dry fast, and my wife and I can wash our underwear together. The only disadvantage I can see would be what “some people” may think. So what if they do.
I wish manufacturers would design and market men’s underwear of similar fabrics and style with no uncomfortable seams in the crotch area. Many of us would be grateful.

I purchased one pair of these and was really pleased with the fit. They are indeed lightweight and comfortable. However they were supposed to wick away moisture and dry quickly. This didn’t happen. Our summers here are very hot, and if you are outside, all of your clothes will become damp with sweat. This was the case when I tried these out – even after being back indoors in the a/c for a couple of hours, wearing very lightweight pants, they stayed damp. There’s no way I would wear them on a long hike or camping trip either, because they were not at all odor resistant.
Maybe they would be better for use in the winter.
